If you are on the fence about a consult, I would 11/10 recommend it. I’m sure, like most mothers, you are feeling overwhelmed by no sleep and it’s heavy. I was at my wit's end when I finally invested. I was concerned my baby would never sleep and this was just my reality. Yasmin had a comprehensive plan set for us and we dove in. We went from an hour of naps a day to 3 hours. Waking 8-10 times a night to sleeping through the night! 

I was lucky enough to feel like I had Yasmin there to walk me through the process and reassure me that I could do it! She empowered me as a mother that I could be in tune with my baby and know that she can put herself to sleep and soothe herself. Yasmin never left me feeling like I was doing this alone. I would highly recommend Yasmin, at Mindful Sleep Consulting, to any parent! Our two-year-old was the baby everyone wished for. She slept through the night, from day one. That was up until we lost our home, our cat, and everything in it, due to a fire. The first three months were pure torture, not only for us but our daughter, as well. I spent the first two months, night after night doing my research. However, it can be confusing trying to navigate through all the information online and books, on RE-sleep training, geared towards trauma. That's when I reached out for help. I had made a post about our 2-year-old struggling to sleep, in a desperate plea. 

Yasmin was the first to offer any solid advice, that worked. Yasmin was very compassionate, knowledgeable, and eager to help! She was able to answer all our questions, concerns, and any uncertainty, along the way. For us, trying to add or make any changes to our already busy lifestyles, would be tough. Yasmin, considered our busy lives, without judgment, and composed a simple custom plan, that fit perfectly into my family. It made all the difference!!! Her support and guidance through this process made us more confident in our role to help our baby girl, through the re-sleep training process. 

With the help from Yasmin, we were able to get her sleeping again, with minimal tears and minimal resistance from her. It has now been 4 months since Yasmin stepped in and our sleep is no longer disturbed.  I would highly recommend Yasmin from Mindful Sleep Consulting. She helped my 3-year-old son who randomly got out of whack and started to wake up multiple times throughout the night for a month straight get back on a regular sleep cycle. Since my son was 3 months old, he has slept 12 hours a night. When he randomly started waking up like a newborn, my husband and I were miserable and nothing we were doing was helping. 

Yasmin helped us create a whole new schedule and within a few days, we already noticed a huge differenceBy the end of the first week, he was back to sleeping 12 hours straight! I am so grateful we hired Yasmin to help sleep training our 5-month-old twins. They never slept horribly but the 4-month sleep regression along with my return back to work had one or both of them getting up every 1 1/2 to 2 hours overnight. I had read books on sleep training twins, but ultimately I felt I wanted someone to give us daily feedback, create a plan that fell within our comfort zone, and wasn’t based on crying it out.

Our two goals for the sleep training were to have both babies sleeping through the night and to have a more consistent length of naps on a more consistent schedule. We have successfully hit both goals!

Having Yasmin to bounce questions off of, get tips for what to do if a nap didn’t go as great, and have cheering us on has been priceless. On night seven of our training, the twins slept through the night!

I would highly recommend Mindful Sleep! After a few rough nights, we decided it was time to give sleep training a try. Yasmin created a custom plan to get our son back on track for bedtime and nap time. After a few days, we noticed a happier baby. In the past, we would rock him to sleep and found he would just wake up the second we put him down. With sleep training, we were able to put our son down and he would fall asleep on his own. Yasmin was instrumental in getting our son back on track. Yasmin, with Mindful Sleep Consulting, is amazing to work with. She took the time to understand what our sleep goals were, along with what would work best for our family to reach those goals.

From the start of our sleep journey, Yasmin was available and responsive to any and all questions. I’m not sure if she just knew exactly what our daughter needed but she had her sleeping through the night, the very first night. Madison had never slept through the night in her short 8 months of life, in fact, she would wake up 3+ times a night, and my husband and I were totally sleep deprived. From that night forward Madison has slept through the night.

Our second sleep goal was consistent naps. After we had Madison sleeping through the night consistently we worked on naps and again, Yasmin was so helpful. She would check in on us to see how naps were going, when we had questions around nap she would explain to us why to move up the nap and how early to move it up. She even provided a note for us to give to our childcare provider so they knew exactly what to do for nap time.

Not only did Yasmin help us achieve our sleep goals, but she also helped me personally with my emotional state and helping me find myself again, with the new free time I had. She is so knowledgeable in all things sleep for infants but also in mental health for mom and dad.
